Download HotFix 4100 for ServiceDesk 4.1

Important: If you are using ServiceDesk Plus 4.0, build numbers 4000 to 4003 (How can I find my Build Number?), DO NOT apply this HotFix. A separate Service Pack for migrating from 4.0 to Version 4.1 will be made available in a few days time.

Instructions to apply the HotFix 4100

 

  1. Shut down ServiceDesk Plus Server.
  2. Run the script UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <ServiceDesk_Plus_Home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
  3. Click Browse to select the HotFix file (that you had downloaded and saved) and then click Install...
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the HotFix.
  5. Once the upgrade is complete, start ServiceDesk Plus Server again.

 

HotFix 4100 README

 

This HotFix contains the following fixes & enhancements

  • Javascript error that pops up in Internet Explorer while trying to invoke windows domain scan.
  • Duplication of requesters when importing from Active Directory for the second time
  • Problem of requester details, for example, department, email etc, not getting fetched from Active Directory while importing from Active Directory
  • Provision to bulk delete requesters.

 

How can I find the Build Number of ServiceDesk Plus?

 

  1. In the ServiceDesk Plus web client, click the About link on the top right of the page.
  2. You should see the Build Number mentioned on the top right of the pop-up page that opens.
  3. Check the following image guide to locate the build number.
