MAPI is required for this report. Please install MAPI

Cause:

This error occurs when MAPI is not installed and reports pertaining to Mailbox Account Properties [or] Mailbox Content [or] Public Folder Properties [or] Public Folder Content Gathering Tasks are accessed.

Resolution:

Install MAPI using any of the following three MAPI providers.

• 'Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2010'
• 'MAPI Download'
• 'Exchange System Manager 2003 SP2'.

If you are installing MAPI for the first time, please stop Exchange Reporter Plus using Start → All programs → Exchange Reporter Plus → Stop Exchange Reporter Plus and Restart again.

Note:

• Only 'MAPI Download' is supported for Exchange 2010 environments.
• 64-bit Microsoft Outlook is not supported by Exchange Reporter Plus.
• Ensure that 'MAPI Download' and 'Microsoft Outlook' are not installed on the same machine where Exchange Reporter Plus is installed.
