Insufficient Privilege

Cause:

While configuring Exchange Server Auditing, the user credential provided in the ‘Organization Settings’ page does not have sufficient privilege.

Resolution:

Update the user credential. Ensure that the user credential provided satisfies the below criteria.

 Single domain forestMultiple domain forest
Exchange Management Shell available

The user credential should be added to the following groups.

  1. Exchange Organization Management
  2. Domain Admins

The user credential should be added to the following groups.

  1. Exchange Organization Management
  2. Enterprise Admins
Exchange Management Shell unavailable

The user credential should be added to the Domain Admins group.

  1. Domain Admins

The user credential should be added to the following groups.

  1. Exchange Organization Management
  2. Enterprise Admins
