If you are using a build earlier to 70001, follow migration sequence or please contact Technical Support to upgrade.
Note: To reach the latest version, if you have to install a couple of service packs and hotfixes, it is recommended to exit the Update Manager tool for every PPM installation. |
In some rare scenarios, you might get an error while starting Desktop Central after upgrading to version 7 as "Failed to start Desktop Central Service". Follow the steps below to resolve:
Log in to the Desktop Central web client, and click the "About us" link in the top pane. You will find the build number mentioned below the version number. This is the build number of the currently installed Desktop Central.
